Description:

An Unreinforced Saddle is a polyethylene (PE) pipe fitting used for creating branch connections (taps) on main HDPE pipelines without the need for cutting or inserting a tee. These saddles are designed without a stainless steel reinforcing ring, making them ideal for low to medium pressure applications, particularly in irrigation, water supply, and drainage systems.

Product Features:

  • Material: High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) – PE100 or PE80 grade.

  • Design: Single-body saddle with a tapping outlet.

  • Reinforcement: No stainless steel ring (unreinforced).

  • Size Range:

    • Main Pipe Diameter (d): From ’25 mm to ‘110 mm

    • Outlet/Tap Size (d1): From ½ inch to 1½ inch BSP or NPT

  • Pressure Rating: Typically up to PN 10 (10 bar) – may vary based on manufacturer.
