Description

TIG Welding Wire – Aluminium – ER5356 – 1.6mm, 2.4mm, 3.2mm (5kg Packs)

Product Overview:

ER5356 aluminium TIG welding wire is a magnesium-alloyed filler rod used for TIG (GTAW) welding of aluminium and aluminium alloys, particularly in the 5xxx and 6xxx series. Containing ~5% magnesium, it offers high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and good color match after anodizing.

ER5356 is the preferred filler metal for structural aluminum work, shipbuilding, trailers, tanks, and components exposed to marine environments. It provides strong, durable welds and is suitable for both welding and overlay applications.

Available Diameters (All in 5kg Packs):

  • 1.6mm

  • 2.4mm

  • 3.2mm

Key Features:

  • High Strength Aluminium Filler Rod

  • Excellent Corrosion Resistance, even in saltwater

  • Good Color Match After Anodizing

  • Low Smut, Stable Arc

  • Vacuum-Sealed 5kg Packs for extended shelf life

  • Ideal for Marine and Structural Aluminium Welding

Applications:

  • Shipbuilding and marine fabrication

  • Aluminium trailers and tanks

  • Automotive and rail components

  • Structural aluminium welding

  • Pressure vessels

  • Bicycle frames and piping systems
