What It Is & Its Purpose

• A diagonal (bay) brace designed to be fitted across scaffold bays in the Quickstage/Kwikstage modular system.

• Provides essential transverse and longitudinal bracing, improving structural stability and resisting horizontal forces from wind, movement, or load

Materials & Construction

• Constructed from steel tube, 48.3 mm O.D., typically 2.3–3.0 mm wall Q235 or Q345 grade

• Fitted at both ends with C‑pressed adaptors and captive wedge‑pins, enabling quick wedge-lock installation—no loose nuts or bolts

• Surface finish: standard hot‑dip galvanized; optional pre-galvanized tubing, powder coat or painted

Where It’s Used

• Installed corner to corner across each bay of the scaffold grid to form necessary triangulation for structural integrity.

• Included in official Quickstage erection manuals (See PERI paperwork) alongside ledgers, standards, transoms
